    Building a fireplace mantle and needed long, narrow, strips of clear Alder veneer. The grain pattern was outstanding and only exceeded by the quality of the product.

    As an 80 year old DYI'er I had never used a product like this.  Had a 35 year old Formica kitchen with solid frames.  Bought solid panel fronts and this veneer.  It looks like a $20,000 kitchen.  Spend the money for the wood back and 3M, cut it with a wallpaper knife.
