Q. How can I join my veneer edging strips at the corners to make a 45 degree angle joint?

A. Yes, it is possible to make a 45 degree joint with your veneer edging strips. It might take a couple of tries. 

Use the peel and stick veneer edging strips. The veneer strips should be a little over sized - wider than the area being covered. This allows for trimming after you apply the edging strips. Apply your first veneer edging strip the whole length of the edge.

Stick some masking tape onto the surface at the corner where you will make your 45 degree joint. Apply the second edging strip, and let it overlap at the corner. 

Use a sharp razor knife to cut down through both strips at the corner to make your 45 degree joint. Remove the leftover pieces of veneer edging at the corner. 

The edging strips will now make a 45 degree angle joint.
